Samsung Electronics Ltd is bringing a huge sporting line up to Samsung TV Plus this summer with three new dedicated sport TV channels, The PGA TOUR, beIN SPORTS XTRA, and Cricket Australia’s first FAST channel, Cricket Gold. These latest additions reflect Samsung’s ongoing commitment to its viewers, creating a hub of 17 free premium sports channels now available on the service.

Samsung Smart TV owners across Australia can gain unlimited access to content in the professional worlds of football, tennis, golf, racing and more. Accessible with just an internet connection, Samsung TV Plus is the free ad-supported streaming TV service from the world’s leading TV manufacturer. The platform’s channel growth solidifies FAST as an environment for fans to engage more deeply with their favourite sports through documentaries, game replays, match highlights, as well as some live matches.

BeIN SPORTS XTRA is the first channel on Samsung TV Plus to offer 24/7 access to football, tennis, rugby, and more, all in one place. Its mix of weekly live football matches include the Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1, while the channel’s premium live tennis offering has coverage from the WTA and ATP Tours including the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup . Adding in a  host of news, analysis and highlights, beIN SPORTS XTRA is set to become a fan favourite.

Golf fans can enjoy free PGA TOUR programming with a robust offering of award-winning content from PGA TOUR Entertainment, including PGA TOUR Originals such as Tiger Tracks and Tiger Tales, official films, round and tournament recaps and replays, as well as PGA TOUR player profiles.

In addition, the launch of the Cricket Gold channel has bowled fans over with hours of footage from the Cricket Australia archive including classic matches, game highlights and compilation programming.

These new channels follow Samsung TV Plus’ recent global launch of the FIFA+ FAST channel, which includes the football giant’s rich offering of live matches from leagues and competitions around the world, extensive archive footage, and endless highlights from previous men’s and women’s games, as well as the DAZN Women’s Football Channel.

Mike Kerr, Managing Director, beIN Asia Pacific, says: “We’re excited to partner with Samsung TV Plus to introduce our very first FAST channel in Australia. beIN SPORTS XTRA presents a unique way to get hours of exclusive sporting content onto the TV screens of a sport-loving nation. Our new channel offers 24/7 access to a diverse array of content, all in one place, at no extra cost; sport doesn’t get much more inclusive than that.”
